Formula 1 US Grand Prix 2026

Circuit of the Americas (COTA) — Austin

About the Event

The Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix returns to Circuit of the Americas in Austin for the 2026 season. The four-day event features practice sessions Thursday and Friday, Sprint race and qualifying on Saturday, and the main Grand Prix on Sunday. The F1 Academy series also joins the weekend schedule, making this the ultimate motorsport experience in Texas.

Transportation Information

COTA is located southeast of downtown Austin. Traffic around the circuit is notoriously heavy on race days. Black Swan offers luxury transportation from Austin hotels, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and surrounding areas directly to COTA. Skip the parking chaos and arrive in style. We also provide multi-day packages for the full race weekend, including return trips to downtown Austin for dining and nightlife.

Routes & Drop-Off

  • COTA premium drop-offWe use the Paddock Club / Turn 1 Club credentialed access lane on Elroy Road — separate from general-parking ingress, with re-entry maintained throughout the day.
  • AUS Airport → COTA20 min off-peak via SH-71 E; 50–75 min on Saturday qualifying and Sunday race-morning. Private jet arrivals at the AUS jet center side cut that to ~15 min.
  • Downtown Austin → COTA20 min off-peak; 60–90 min on race day. We pre-stage at Onion Creek so the car is curbside at your hotel within 10 min of pickup time.
  • Race-weekend hotel runsMulti-day packages cover daily COTA round-trips plus evening runs to 6th Street, Rainey, and Domain Northside dining without re-billing each leg.
  • Concert-night stagingSaturday-night COTA concerts let out after 11 PM; we stage in the dedicated post-show queue so guests skip the 90-min general-parking exit.

Pricing & Minimums

F1 weekend is priced as a multi-day package, not by the hour. Standard packages cover Thursday-through-Sunday hotel-COTA round-trips plus 2 evening dinner runs; longer windows (private testing, FP1 arrivals) are billed at the regular hourly rate with a 4-hour minimum. AUS airport transfers can be bundled into the package or booked separately. Race-week premium-vehicle availability tightens 4–6 weeks ahead — confirm tickets first, then call to lock in the package.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book F1 US Grand Prix transportation?

For 2026 race weekend (Oct 22–25), book 4–6 weeks ahead to lock in premium-vehicle availability — Escalade ESV and Sprinter Executive sell out first. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but we cannot guarantee the vehicle category.

How long does it take to get from Austin-Bergstrom to COTA on race day?

Off-peak the drive is 20 min via SH-71 E. On Saturday qualifying and Sunday race-morning, expect 50–75 minutes door-to-door including the COTA approach queue. We monitor live traffic and adjust your pickup time so you make first lap.

Do you offer multi-day F1 weekend packages?

Yes — most race-weekend clients book a package covering Thursday-through-Sunday hotel ↔ COTA round-trips plus evening dinner runs to 6th Street, Rainey, or the Domain. This is billed as a flat package, not hourly, and saves materially vs. booking each leg separately.

Can you accommodate Saturday-night COTA concert pickups?

Yes — Saturday-night COTA concerts let out around 11 PM and the general-parking exit can take 60–90 minutes. We stage in the credentialed post-show queue, so your chauffeur is curbside within 15 min of the final song.

Do you handle private aviation transfers for F1 weekend?

Yes — we cover the AUS jet center side, Austin Executive (KEDC), and San Marcos Regional (KHYI) for race-weekend arrivals. Planeside pickup is available; we coordinate with the FBO on your tail number and ETA so the car is engine-side as you deplane.

What vehicle should I pick for an F1 weekend group of 6?

Cadillac Escalade ESV is the most common pick for groups of 4–7. Room for race gear, headphones, and rain layers, and the back-to-back day schedule rewards a comfortable cabin. For 8+ guests, step up to Mercedes Sprinter Executive.
